Leighton Machine & Tool is proud to announce the addition of the DMG MORI ecoMill 70 to our advanced line of CNC equipment. In addition to the standard X-Y-Z axes, the machine features a rotating fourth and fifth axis. This machine allows us to do 5-sided machining which greatly increases part precision while minimizing setup time. The ecoMill can deliver 0.0003 in. axes positioning accuracy and it is equipped with a one-touch tool and workpiece probe to simplify machine setup. The machine has a working area of 750mm in the X axis and 600mm in the Y axis with a 12,000 RPM spindle and 32 tool magazine.
